Prime Government Contractor
Problem:
The customer was building test systems for a large program. The components going into the rack required a high amount of airflow for cooling and the rack needed to be secure as their client wanted minimal access to the rack. There was one component going into the rack that required frequent access and our client did not want people to have the ability to get to other components in the rack while working on this component.
Solution:
AMCO designed and manufactured a custom 3G enclosure. This gave our client 77% open, perforated doors in the front and rear of the rack for optimal airflow. We then developed a retractable shelf that would slide out the side of the rack through a lockable door in the side panel. This ensured that they could service the component on the shelf without giving complete access to all of the other components in the cabinet.
