Test Equipment Cabinet-West Coast
Problem:
Our customer was looking for a cabinet that was two colors. They also needed to pull large cable bundles through the bottom of the cabinet. The last issue they had was that the equipment in the cabinet produced a lot of heat and the customer was looking for a solution to pull the heat out the back of the cabinet at the top and the bottom.
Solution:
AMCO Enclosures painted the frame gunmetal gray and the doors and side panels black. This is standard for AMCO and there is no additional charge for a cabinet that is two colors. To solve the cables coming through the bottom we designed a custom baseplate with a double brush strip to bring the cables through and prevent any debris from entering the rack. Custom fan panels were designed and manufactured to address the heat issue in the cabinet. The custom panels were placed at both the top and the bottom of the rack.
