Problem:

The customer was looking for several, multi-bay shielded racks with custom features. They wanted side panels with handles on each side of the multi-bay, short doors on the front and ventilation on the lower door.

Solution:

AMCO Enclosures’ engineering team worked with the customer to establish the amount of airflow needed in the bottom section and then worked with our suppliers to specify the correct shielded filter. We also designed a side panel to accommodate the side panels on the multi-bay, reinforcing the panels in the area that the handles would be installed. Short doors were then designed and manufactured to accommodate the shielded equipment the customer was installing that did not require a door.
