Problem:
Our customer wanted a custom size rack with a custom top panel, mounting channels and finish. The customer is from a large, industrial city and wanted to show all of the manufacturing processes that it took to make these racks. The customer requested a clear coat finish so all of the weld and grind marks would show.
Solution:
AMCO Enclosures designed these racks to the exact size requirements the customer wanted using our Titan DT platform. A custom top and mounting channels were also included. We worked with our powder and chemical suppliers to develop a process to pretreat the racks prior to paint. This process ensured that we did not get flash rust on the racks or accessories. After the pretreatment we coated the racks with a clear powder which included a high gloss finish.
